About Andrei Antonov:
One of the main features of Dr. Andrey Antonov is goal commitment. He studied a lot, worked hard, and improved his qualifications so that today he is a highly qualified surgeon who not only operates on patients but also teaches students.
Education:
From 1995 to 2001 – He received his first education in St. Petersburg at the Military Medical Academy (VMEDA).
2001 to 2002 – internship in general surgery
Since 2004, he has been working in the primary specialization as an otolaryngologist (ENT surgeon).
In 2008, he moved from St. Petersburg to Kohtla-Järve, and worked as an emergency doctor (Emergency Medicine) in Ida-Viru Central Hospital. At the same time, he is learning Estonian in order to study at an Estonian university to confirm the right to work as a doctor, according to the Estonian requirements for medical education.
In 2011 – 2014, he completed a residency in otolaryngology at the University of Tartu (Tartu Ülikooli Kliinikumi Kõrvakliinik).
Since 2014, he has been a doctor at the University of Tartu Clinic.
Since 2014, he has been working with leading hospitals in Estonia:
North Estonian Regional Hospital in Tallinn (SA Põhja-Eesti Regionaalhaigla)
Tallinn Children’s Hospital (SA Lastehaigla)
Tartu Hospital (SA TÜK Kõrvakliinik), where he is also a teaching doctor.
In 2021 started to work with Meerhof Dental Center

Leisure:
Outside professional activities, Dr. Antonov enjoys running and learning foreign languages. The doctor speaks Russian, Estonian, German, and studies English. He is keen on traveling.
