When you Choose an Implantation
You Choose a Team!
Dental implantation is a complex dental procedure that requires a high level of expertise of a doctor, assistants, a navigation surgery support specialist, an anesthesiologist, and a dental lab technician. If the work is well coordinated between all team members, it makes a difference.
We will be happy to solve your dental problem in the best way possible and offer various treatment options for you. Our medical staff practice and improve their skills on a daily basis, learn from the best industry experts and use state-of-the-art dental technology.

How Dental Implants are Placed?
Dental implantation is a procedure that implants a titanium rod into the jawbone, increases the gum tissue volume in the implantation area and secures the ceramic fixture.
The process consists of 3 stages:
1. Planning
In the beginning, a comprehensive diagnosis is made, namely 3D X-ray and optical scan of the jawbone. Then the implantation and his team members analyze the data and make a decision on the types and time of treatment to be given and the cost of treatment.
Planning also includes design (digital positioning of implants and replacing teeth) and making a surgical guide.
The surgical guide is made using computer planning and 3D printing. It takes into account all orthopedic and surgical parameters, provides high accuracy and minimizes the risk of injury during implant placement. Therefore, the procedure is safe and any complications are less likely to occur.
2. Implantology stage
Dental implant placement is a patient-friendly procedure and feels not much different from other dental procedures. A titanium rod is implanted while local or general anesthesia is applied. If the volume of bone tissue is insufficient, it is augmented by way of bone grafting. If necessary, sinus lifting and/or gingivoplasty is performed.
After the procedure, the follow-up 3D X-ray is carried out and the patient is provided with a post-surgery care package for more comfortable recovery. In 10 to 14 days, the patient comes to the clinic for repeated inspection.
3. Orthopedic stage
This stage begins in 2.5 to 6 months, when the bone around the implant matures. The stage start time depends on whether the rod was placed in the socket of a removed tooth (in an immediate or delayed manner) or in the “grafted” bone. The patient comes to the clinic twice, and procedures s/he goes through do not make the patient feel uncomfortable.
During the first visit, the physician takes casts or carries out a 3D scan of the jawbone. The data is delivered to the dental technical laboratory, where a replacing tooth is produced. During the second visit, which takes place in 10 to 14 days, the dentist finally secures the crown, and the process of replacing the missing tooth is considered completed.

FAQs
Meerhof Dental Center effectively places non-submerged implants when a titanium rod is inserted immediately after the extraction of an affected tooth (teeth), and in 2 to 4 days a temporary fixture is fitted. A permanent ceramic fixture is fitted in 1 to 2 months.
In case of total (comprehensive) work, a temporary fixture is immediately fitted, which ensures that the patient feels comfortable throughout the entire treatment period. This is especially important since the patient can easily smile and chew.
The placement of submerged implants takes 3 to 6 months (3 to 4 visits). The restoration of all teeth in both jaws takes 6 months to 2 years. The time period depends on the patient’s health condition, the need to augment bone tissue, and whether the patient can come to the clinic from time to time (or cannot if s/he is living/working in another country).
Complete healing after implantation takes 3 to 6 months.
No. There are intervals of several months between the stages. After implant placement, you may only feel a little uncomfortable, and during the first 2 to 3 days your gums may hurt a bit. If you heed the guidance provided by your physician, you will go back to normal life the next day.
The cost of placing a single implant and a ceramic crown in Meerhof Dental Center consists of the following components:
- Cost of the dental implant.
- Cost of work.
- Cost of auxiliary procedures (3D surgical guide, anesthesia, disposable sterile surgical kit, 3D tomography, post-surgery care package).
Cost of gums grafting, bone tissue augmenting, and sinus lifting (if needed).
The actual scope of treatment and the dental implantation cost are calculated at the initial stage, after consultation with the physician.

Patient Reviews:
Luckily, I contacted the Merrhof clinic and got to the wonderful doctor Vadim Pacatsila. The work ahead was difficult and long, but the result exceeded all expectations! Everything was done professionally, carefully and with attention to detail. I am very grateful to the doctor for his skill, patience and high quality of work.
I would also like to thank the entire staff of the clinic - they really care about patients and create an atmosphere of trust and comfort. If you are looking for a clinic that values quality and is responsible for the result - I definitely recommend Merrhof!
I wrote this review one day after the surgery.
And special thanks to the magical Doctor Tkachenko! I was so worried before installing the screw, I was already preparing for pain and “burning sensations,” but in the end I didn’t even understand how it all went!
Your hands are just magic, honestly!
Their best-in-class equipment and cutting-edge technology truly set them apart. The dentist and team were incredibly thorough, taking the time to explain everything clearly and ensuring I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. I truly appreciated their attention to detail and gentle approach during the treatment.
Thank you for making what is usually a stressful visit so pleasant and painless!
Originally I was scared about extraction, especially after hearing many other people’s miserable experiences about such treatment elsewhere, many times. But with Meerhof I’ve never encountered any of those after the treatment. I got one horizontal wisdom tooth and two broken wisdom teeth, which led to need of removal of all four in once. It was performed under general anesthesia and I basically just felt like having taken a nap…and after waking up everything’s done. I could start eating ordinarily (without things too harsh) after three days.
Due to pharyngitis, for me I experienced two to three days sore throat and running nose symptoms as a result from oxygen tube insertion. But they are no different than having caught a mild cold, and they will gone easily if you keep taking the medications prescribed by the clinic following their suggestions (every 6 hrs) afterwards. You don’t need to pay any extra fees for these medications. And if you don’t have pharyngitis or nosebleeds concerns then I guess you may won’t experience these.
Just be careful with your tongue when you wake up from anesthesia. Don’t speak instantly otherwise you may bite your tongue…. And if you have carsickness then on that day try avoiding taking transportation for long as the reaction can be stronger. (But I really sincerely appreciate the clinic helped me ordered a Bolt drive back home with them paying the bill.) 💛
Overall it’s a good experience. The price of treatment might seem higher than some other clinics, but their service quality indeed deserves it. I won’t hesitate to recommend Meerhof to all my acquaintances who also need to deal with their wisdom teeth problems.
Thank you to Dr Igor and Nikolai, and all the other nurses/assistants who had participated in my surgery process (I really don’t remember any single thing from it so don’t know who you all are, sorry for that 🙁 ), and other admin people who guided me throughout the process. I sincerely appreciate everything.
I've had a hygiene cleaning done here (by Julia Ljubtšenko), root canal treatment (by Dr. Vladimir Volkov), and a complex implant procedure with bone and gum augmentation, all under general anesthesia (just fell asleep and woke up with new teeth). For that, I'm incredibly grateful to the surgeon Dr. Igor Tkachenko and the incredibly cheerful anesthesiologist Dr. Nikolai Zaitsev.
What earned my trust in this clinic was that during my first visit, they conducted a very thorough examination (felt like astronaut training). They took photos from different angles, did a 3D X-ray, a 3D scan, and later performed some sort of gnathological study (this was to ensure the jaw joint was in the correct position). So, I walked out of the clinic thinking, "Well, okay. What's next?" Another day, they provided me with a large set of documents containing a detailed treatment plan. If you've ever seen project documentation for building a house, it's very similar. They also explained everything and showed me a visualization of my future teeth, right on my own photo. I think this approach was the key factor for me.
And they also offer delicious coffee to go! =)
Many thanks to the doctors of the clique, professionals in their field and the very polite entire staff of the clinic.

Making an appointment, consultation - everything is at the highest level. Thank you so much for your attitude towards your patients! After visiting the clinic, only positive emotions.
It was my first time at your clinic, and I was very pleased with the attitude and professional approach of Dr. Eric Kangur, who advised me in great detail about the treatment plan.
Thank you
